Give your cat the freedom to go outside for fresh air and exercise during the day - but also have the peace of mind knowing that your cat is safe inside at night.
No need for a collar, the PetSafe Microchip Cat Flap works with advanced selective entry technology that identifies your cat's microchip. As your cat approaches the door, the door automatically opens, allowing your cat to enter. Once your cat has passed through the door, the flap will automatically lock. The door will remain locked until it identifies another microchip. This ensures any stray pets, possums, pests and other wildlife are kept outside of your home.
The PetSafe Microchip Cat Flap reads the most common type of microchip in cats - FDX-B (15 digits). Please note that microchip numbers with 10 digits, letters, and those starting with 977xxxxxxxxxxxx and 98514xxxxxxxxxx are not compatible with PetSafe microchip pet doors.
The door is powered by 4 AA Alkaline batteries (estimated battery life of 12 months). The low battery indicator light will flash red when it's time to change the batteries.

Features

Battery Powered - The door is powered by 4 AA alkaline batteries (not included).
Low Battery Indicator - When it's time to replace the batteries, the low battery indicator will flash red.

Things to Consider
- For installation on walls, double glazed glass, and doors with metal on the inside or outside, you will need an installation adaptor. This can be purchased from PetSafe's website.
