The PetSafe Ultrasonic Bark Collar is a microphone activated device that emits a piercing ultrasonic tone which dogs can hear but is silent to humans. The dog should then assosciate this tone with their barking and cease barking while the collar is worn. Other ultrasonic devices are not worn by the dog and therefore can only cover a certain, small area, whereas the PetSafe Ultrasonic Bark Collar controls your dogs barking wherever it goes!

  • Weighs only 28g.  Can be worn by dogs of all sizes
  • The ultrasonic unit can be attached to collar up to 2.5cm in width
  • Ultrasonic tone is inaudible to most humans
  • Water Resistant.  NOT for submersion
  • Most effective on pet dogs, not recommended for working dogs

Things to Consider

  • The PetSafe Ultrasonic Collar is not effective with stopping barking in all cases. Some dogs are unfortunately not susceptible to ultrasonic tone. A static or citronella bark collar is the next step if your dog does not adequately respond to this unit.
  • In situations with more than one barking dog we recommend using a vibration or dual-activated collar to avoid false corrections due to microphone activation
